If you’re anything like me, there is nothing like a good old chronology to work out where things started, where they have reached and what’s likely to happen in the future.
The Paris goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees all relate to pre industrial temperatures. Therefore the industrial revolution seems like a good place to start the climate change story.
Spoiler alert, the story doesn’t currently look like it’s gonna have a happy ending.
It’s one of those where we are all encouraged to rewrite the trajectory that we are currently on. The recent IPCC report suggests that the direction of travel is worse than we’d thought.
Things need to change.
