It’s a little bit funny…

Isn’t it funny how, when our weather turns bad, reference to climate change goes from being made in the future tense to something in the here and now 🤔

Strong winds causing chaos with fallen trees and other flying debris, power cuts, travel affected and now wide spread flooding. Will flood defences built continue to protect people’s homes? When will we be hit by the next big storm?

Something like this ⬇️ is a stark reminder of where we are at.

🌍 Climate change isn’t a future problem
🌍 It’s not something we need to sort out for our future generations, for our children or grandchildren
🌍 It’s not something that affects other countries and not us
🌍 It’s not going away
🌍 It’s not a fuss over nothing

But it is

✔️ something will all have a responsibility to help to fix
✔️ something which should affect our personal and business lives significantly
✔️ something which is going to feel uncomfortable as it requires significant and permanent change
✔️ something that we must all start to address now
